Questions
Questions you might be shy to ask.
What happens in sessions, who coaching is for, and where its boundaries are.
What is relationship and intimacy coaching?
It is a collaborative space for education, reflection, and practice. We can explore what you want, notice repeating patterns, and try new ways to communicate and connect.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions or trauma. If clinical care is needed, a licensed professional is the right first contact. Some people use coaching alongside other care when it is appropriate.
Is there physical or sexual contact in sessions?
No. Sessions are conversational and may include optional breath or clothed body-awareness practices. Any intimate choices between partners happen privately, outside sessions, and only with mutual consent.
Can I come alone if my partner is unsure?
Yes. Individual coaching can help you understand your own patterns and choices. A partner can enquire later if they wish.
Do you welcome different identities and relationship structures?
Yes. You are welcome to describe your relationship, identity, and values in your own words. We begin with what matters to you, without assuming one model fits everyone.
Can coaching help with a medical or medication question?
Health, hormones, sleep, stress, and medication can be relevant to intimacy, but coaching does not give medical advice or change treatment. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist about individual health or medication questions.
How quickly will things change?
There is no fixed timeline or guaranteed outcome. Some people notice useful shifts quickly; other patterns take longer to understand and practise differently.
What if we are unsure whether to stay together?
You do not need to decide that before enquiring. Coaching can support clearer conversation and choices, without promising or prescribing a particular outcome.
